By: EP Media Group For a taste of what is to come, please check out behind the scenes video of the making of PARIS at https://youtu.be/ In the wake of the tragedy that occurred in Paris, France on Friday, November 13th, 2015, Erica and her team were concerned that continuing with the original release date would be disrespectful to the victims and their families as well as a case of classic terrible timing; but were encouraged to continue with the planned release by many of her team’s Parisian friends and contacts. Erica commented that “Paris is many things, but I’ve never felt that it is a city of fear. It has always seemed to me that Parisians are a complicated fabric of love, loss, laughter, drama and above all, passion. After all, Paris is La Ville Lumière… the City of Lights. This song and its counterpart video were recorded and completed many months prior to the horrors that occurred on November 13th, 2015, and I feel that paying homage to that city is even more appropriate now given the events. I have also decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of the song to the victims’ families. ” “Paris” is now available on all digital platforms with 100% of the proceeds from sales through to the end of the year (December 31st, 2015) to benefit those affected by the Parisian attacks of Friday November 13, 2015 via the French Red Cross. “Paris,” is a song that wrote itself,” said Erica, “it is about love which is lost and then found again and how beautiful memories never fade and finding comfort in knowing that. I realize now, in the wake of this horrific tragedy, that its interpretation is applicable on many levels.” A survivor herself, Ms. Chase knows intimately what it means to start anew, moreover have the courage to rebuild. Several years ago, Erica was hit by an oncoming truck while riding her bicycle. The accident, which would have derailed most, gave her the courage to chase her dreams of being a music artist. “You only have once chance at this life,” said Chase “and after waking up in an emergency helicopter and seeing my life flash before my eyes, I knew I had to follow my passion. I hope with all of my heart that my song “Paris” gives the citizens of Paris, the families of the fallen as well as people around the globe who have suffered due to similar recent tragedies a sprinkle of light in their darkened hour with the healing power of music. Paris will shine brighter than ever again; that fact, I know.” To download your copy of Erica Chase’s “Paris” and be part of this powerful campaign, please click here; On iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/ On Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/ On Google Play: https://play.google.com/ For more on Erica Chase, visit her website: http://www.EricaChase.com Join the conversation!
