ITH Charities contributes toward preventing vision loss from glaucoma by investing in education and sponsoring eye clinics targeting those with least access to preventative measures. The Gala will include a red carpet, VIP President’s Reception, gala dinner, a silent auction, special guest appearances, and an awards presentation. The focus of the gala is on raising glaucoma awareness and preventing blindness and the goal for this year’s Benefit Gala is to generate enough funds to target 3,000 kids in Fiscal Year 2016 in Zambia, Malawi, and Kenya, Africa, with on-campus eye screening and testing, and increased funding for medical treatment.
