MIAMI - Nov. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Avionica Inc. announced today it has selected Satmetrix® NPX for managing and improving the customer experience as it builds a broader foundation for the next phase of the company’s growth.

“At Avionica we embrace the Rockefeller Habits for continuous improvement, and we are confident that the Satmetrix® NPX software and the Net Promoter® Score methodology will help us to achieve even greater levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction. The customer analytics and closed loop management system will provide the information we need to ensure our customers are being treated like we would want to be treated. I am excited to see how our embrace of NPS® and an even greater focus on our customers will help improve our bottom line,” said Raul Segredo, founder and president.

According to Bain & Co., the management consulting company that along with Satmetrix and Fred Reicheld co-developed the Net Promoter Score, NPS has been the most successful measure of the customer experience and how that affects a company’s results.

Avionica, founded in 1992 by two computer engineers in a Miami garage with $500 in start-up capital, has grown to 60 employees and a customer list of airlines from around the world. It carved a market niche by producing the industry's first lightweight mini quick access recorder (QAR) that records and downloads aircraft data. To date, Avionica has installed transmission equipment to capture data on more than 8,000 aircraft, including those manufactured by Boeing, Gulfstream, Dassault, Cessna and Bombardier/Learjet. Plus, airlines such as Emirates, United, GOL, UPS and COPA have used Avionica products for years.

At the NBAA 2015 Business Aviation Convention & Exposition, Avionica showcased its two core product lines:

·       avSYNC, an immediate data download service with a 4G wireless mini QAR.
·       satLINK MAX, the world’s only voice and data safety certified satcom for mandates like FANS/1A.

The satLINK MAX is the lightest and highest performing Iridium™ satellite communications solution for the Boeing 737 as well as the Boeing 777, 767 and 757. It also can be installed as a retrofit on all business aircraft to satisfy FANS/1A requirements.

The company boasts a record 18 Federal Aviation Administration certificates of approval for installation on aircraft and multiple certification approvals from Canada, Europe, United Arab Emirates and China.
