Confluence 2015, District 98, Toastmasters International

HYDERABAD, India - Nov. 30, 2015 - PRLog -- District 98 of Toastmasters International held their Semi Annual Conference Confluence 2015 at JNTU in Hyderabad from November 27 – 29, 2015. The highlight of the event was the Humorous Speech and Speech Evaluation Contests where participants from about 200 across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, AP, Telangana, Chattisgarh through a process of elimination at the club and area level, contested at the semiannual District Conference – Confluence 2015.  700+ delegates from across India attended the conference.

Sivakumar Sethuraman, Head of Facebook India was the keynote speaker. The star speaker list included eminent personalities like  Padmashree Ananda Shankar Jayant, Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Pro-Vice Chancellor Jain University and V. Lakshminath, Managing Director of Broadridge Financial Solutions and World Champion of Public Speaking 2015, Mohammad Qahtani.

Speaking about confluence 2015, Head of the District, District Director Brillian S. K said “Contests help members experience Public Speaking in the true sense. I congratulate winners Kriti Prajapati (Humorous Speech) & Karan Gupta (Evaluation Contest)”

“This was a successful event with 700+ delegates from across India participating in this conference” said Conference Mentor & Program Quality Director Chandrashekar DP.

Srinidhi Dasaka the convenor shared “Having the World Champion of Public Speaking 2015 at Hyderabad was the icing on the cake.”

The annual conference Eloquence 2016 is planned at VITS Hotel, Pune from May 27-29, 2016.
