Follow on Google News | Charlotte Activist DeVondia Roseborough Says Farewell to HIVDeVondia Roseborough began sharing her story from a directive she received from God on her so-called death bed in 2003 to go, say and do. Then is when she found the condition had progressed to AIDS. Fighting for her life, Roseborough rose to the occasion and has advocated the importance of self-care, medication adherence, and mental health as well as counseled hundreds in the Charlotte area and abroad on the importance of quality medical care and remaining focused on what mattered before their diagnosis and not to lose sight on their vision for 10 years. "My time is up. I have done what God has called me to do and it is time for me to explore my other gifts and talents that He has given me. My past is over." Roseborough is a full-time student at Johnson C. Smith University Metropolitan College. She will soon declare her major in Communication Arts. Roseborough says her next steps are to continue to enjoy life and to pursue her love in public relations, marketing and hopes to do a lot of television, radio and publish more books.
