DENVER - Nov. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- The newest release of Krypto500 is now compatible with multiple operating systems using VM support. VMWare, VirtualBox, VirtualPC, Vagrant and HyperV can now run Krypto500 software in any Linux, Java, Unix or MacOS environment, allowing rapid use of the SIGINT tools in an exponentially larger group of diverse users and platforms.

Compatibility with Windows 10 is also available in this update, turning the newest generation of PCs into advanced SIGINT instruments.

Krypto500 has always been a hardware-agnostic collection, decoding, analysis and classification suite, and this update removes restrictions on which operating systems can run the Krypto500 software.

Another feature of the recent update is Midas Blue protocol support. This protocol specification is built on the NeXtMidas standard and used by various US governmental agencies.

Users will also find additional decoders, including seven new variants of the Pactor-II data modem, the RFSM Chat mode decoders for a Russian-made PSK modem, and the Pactor-I 200bd Selcall Variant.

Other updates include:

·      Hardware compatibility for two new 24-bit radios from RFSPACE, the CloudIQ and CloudSDR.

·      Additional more RadioID entries, plus more FSK and PSK classifers

Krypto500 and Krypto1000 will be on display December 1-3 during the 52nd Annual Association of Old Crows (AOC) International Symposium & Convention in Washington D.C., which is dedicated to examining the synchronization of electronic warfare and cyber systems to achieve spectrum dominance.
