Nov. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- With the Christmas season now in full swing, there’s “something cooking” every week in December at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant (http://www.bavarianinn.com/).

On Tuesday, Dec. 1 and Wednesday, Dec. 2, the Bavarian Inn presents a holiday luncheon show, “A Barry Merry Christmas,” with Barry Manilow tribute singer Frank Sternett performing a wide repertoire of favorite holiday tunes. Show times are 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 1 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 2, affording families a great opportunity to kick off the Christmas season in song. Price is $40 per person, which includes the show, a hearty Frankenmuth® Chicken plate lunch, non-alcoholic beverage, tax and gratuity.

On Dec. 10, a special day for food and wine lovers will be on tap as the Bavarian Inn hosts its “Holiday Wine Dinner” beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a five-course gourmet menu designed and prepared by 2012 Silver Plate Award-winning chef, Phil Fahrenbruch. Wine pairings and expert commentary will be presented by Rick Collett of Peerless Importing Company. Visit www.bavarianinn.com and click on “calendar of events” to view the chef’s menu and the evening’s wines in delicious detail. The $55 per person price includes the meal, featured wines, tax, and gratuity.

On Dec. 13, enjoy lunch, activities, and fun outdoor photo opportunities with a live reindeer at the Bavarian Inn’s “Lunch with Santa and Rudolph” event. The fun begins at 11 a.m. with a special appearance by the “jolly old elf” and his crimson-nosed companion. The $20 per person price includes the famous Frankenmuth Chicken plate lunch and all activities, tax and gratuity. And, don’t forget the camera!

Just in time for the much anticipated release of “Star Wars – Episode VII – The Force Awakens,” the Bavarian Inn invites your little ones to “feel the force” at “Jedi Experience,” coming Dec. 30 at 11 a.m. The luncheon event includes an opportunity to train to become a Jedi Knight from experienced Jedi masters. The fun includes lunch, light saber training, photo opportunities with “Darth Villain” and other characters, and a special gift from a Jedi master, all for $25 per person. Tax and gratuity are included.

Experience “the most wonderful crime of the year” on Dec. 31 as the Bavarian Inn presents its “New Year’s Eve Murder Mystery Dinner Show” beginning at 6:30 p.m. The story unfolds as the stand-up comedian hired to perform at the holiday party is found dead. Definitely not funny! The assignment: identify and pin down the holiday hitman while enjoying a festive four-course New Year’s Eve dinner. The $50 per person package includes meal and the show, a non-alcoholic beverage, tax, and gratuity. Dinner detectives will also discover a cash bar available before and during the investigation.

All of the Bavarian Inn’s December events require reservations and prepayment. To reserve a place (or more) at any of the events, please call 1-800-BAVARIA or (989) 652-9941.
