By: Ripple Foundation Faith Emiry is the author of Mika’s Fortune, a magical tale of fortune cookies that take a young girl and her mother on wild adventures. Faith was a grade 8 student at St. Mary Catholic School in Massey, Ont., when she wrote this epic tale. Christopher Smolej was a grade 7 student at St. Anselm Catholic School in Toronto when he wrote Escape from the Taco Shop, a liberating tale of fast food that fights back. Escape from the Taco Shop was originally a classroom assignment and it is now one of Kids Write 4 Kids’ published titles.
