Appointed receives two Radio Alliance Gospel Music Awards nominations

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Nov. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- In full swing, gospel recording artist Appointed has received two nominations for another gospel awards show — this time she is nominated for Urban Contemporary Female Artist of the Year and Urban Contemporary Song of the Year for Call Me in the Radio Alliance Awards (RAA) presented by the Independent Gospel Artist Radio Alliance. The RAA is produced by Pastor Keithron Powell and Teresa Tyree Powell founders of iGospel Radio.

The Fly Away Records artist picked up a Female Artist Of The Year (Urban) award for Call Me last month during the Zeta Gospel Radio & Music Awards. Appointed is also a Best Female Vocalist of the Year (Contemporary) Blockbuster Music Awards nominee. The BlockBuster Music Awards is the brainchild of John Smiley, owner of First Choice Gospel Records.

"I'm like David. My weapon is my five smooth stones of faith in the Lord and His plan. I can't take any credit for these promotions because I know in my heart and soul that I didn't do anything so special for all of this. Glory to His Name," declared Appointed.

Call Me is a worship criers song and charted as the number one song in October on the NIA Radio Network. Call Me has been in the Top 10 on several stations that include Synergy 1 Radio and Rejoice America Radio. Call Me is currently spinning on Iconic Limitless Radio, E-Word Radio, Awesome GOD Radio, WPGN Radio, Love 24/7, and Gospel Spotlight Radio.
