Urban Dance Center launches first of its kind fusion dance group Urban Singh Crew at Annual Event

SOUTH DELHI, India - Nov. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- November 22, 2015: Urban Dance Center India celebrated its annual performing arts show ‘Showcase 2015’ yesterday, a display of various styles including contemporary, commercial hip-hop and Bollywood. The highlight of the show was a special performance by Urban Singh Crew, the first and only crew of a group of boys representing the Sikh community of India, performing a fusion of hip-hop and R&B to Punjabi music. Showcase 2015 held at the Arya Auditorium of East of Kailash, New Delhi also included special performances by the western dance societies of Jesus & Mary College and Manav Rachna University. Mrs. Rajiee M. Shinde, Co-Promoter and CEO- PTC Network was the guest of honour at the event

“Showcase 2015 is a specially designed show where students from UDC Delhi/NCR get a chance to present the techniques and dance movements they have excelled in, over a period of two months. UDC provides a platform for its students every year to exhibit their talent. The Urban Singh Crew is a one-of-its-kind group with an exclusive set of skills. We are happy to launch them and provide dance lovers with an eclectic mix of dance forms,” said Sahaj Singh, Founder, Urban Dance Center.

With a philanthropic objective to make a difference in the lives of dance enthusiasts, UDC undertakes the responsibility of training underprivileged students of the Rhythm of Life NGO year round. The training and stage experience provided to these children by UDC boosts their skills and confidence as performers. They are educated in technique, performance, professionalism and stage discipline.
