BOERNE, Texas - Nov. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- The Boerne Greyhounds are entering their bye week at the midpoint of their season with an unblemished 4-0 record.  This record does not include their homecoming game versus Marble Falls that was cancelled in bizarre fashion due to power failure at the stadium.  Their four victories include wins over Hondo, Medina Valley, Antonian, and Sonora.  The Hounds will now focus their attention on competing in the always tough district 14 4A.  Boerne High School, led by head coach Mike Dormady, is looking to earn a playoff birth for the second year in a row following last year’s second place finish.

Standing in their way will be home games against Fredericksburg, defending regional champion Liberty Hill, and Canyon Lake.  The Greyhounds will be tested on the road with contests at Taylor and Bandera.  Boerne appears to be poised and ready for the challenge of district play.   Five games over the course of the next five weeks will determine their fate as the Greyhounds look to continue their early season success.
