DAVENPORT, Fla. - Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- When Orlando does something, it really does it in style – and that includes world records.

The planned Skycraper ‘polercoaster’ and the Skyplex Orlando (http://mangos.com/skyplex/) entertainment complex is set to break not just one world record but six!

The Skycraper at Skyplex roller coaster, on International Drive, which is due to open in a few weeks, is set to:

·         Be the tallest rollercoaster in the world at 501 feet

·         Feature the  tallest vertical lift at 524 feet, including 24feet underground

·         Break the record for the world’s tallest inversion

·         Include the world’s steepest drop.

Project developer Skyplex Managing Principal, Joshua Wallack, says the backing from Orlando, the region and beyond is vital for the record-breaking venture.

“The support from Central Florida and around the world is very humbling. Skyplex will be the tallest roller coaster on Earth, very appropriate for the tourism capital of the world -- Orlando, Florida -- and belongs in the International Drive Entertainment District.”

Garrett Kenny, Chief Executive Officer of leading developer and agent, Feltrim Group, says, “The record-breaking Skyplex on IDrive is yet another world-class attraction in Orlando.

“Add to it WaltDisneyWorld, Universal Orlando, Legoland Florida and SeaWorld and it’s no wonder that Orlando is the number one destination in the United States.

“Every time another attraction is added to the area, it’s another reason for buy-to-let investors to purchase property here, as they know there will be a growing number of visitors to join the 62million that holidayed here last year.”

The $500million brainchild of Wallack Holdings LLC, owners of the new Mango’s Tropical Café Orlando, set to open in just a few weeks and ‘polercoaster’ is the anchor attraction at Skyplex.

In addition, Skyplex’s surf park SkySurf will contain the world’s largest man-made surfing wave pool, and the entertainment complex will also feature the free fall zip line, SkyFall, the world’s tallest drop ride.

Skyplex will comprise approximately 1.5 million square feet located on 14 acres. It will be the area’s largest indoor theme park and also will include SkyFly free fall zip line, simulators and a host of rides and games, as well as additional opportunities for attractions, interactive venues, upscale restaurants, bars and retail.

At present, a 625 car parking garage/entertainment complex with rooftop restaurant and retail promenade is underway next to Mango’s Tropical Café Orlando.

Skyplex also will include a 350-room hotel and 2400-car parking garage with a valet parking option. The Skyscraper observation deck will offer views 535 feet from the ground and will be accessible by the region’s tallest glass elevators.
