Kent State University’s MBA Program Ranked in The Financial Engineer

Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Kent State’s MBA program was ranked 116th in the nation for 2016 by The Financial Engineer, the leading online source of financial information who provides the most comprehensive rankings of MBA programs in the country. Kent State’s MBA program ranked 135th  last year, jumping almost 20 spots in the ranking.

“This year’s increase in ranking is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Dean Deborah F. Spake, Ph.D. “The College of Business Administration continues to improve its programs and strive for excellence, and being recognized again by The Financial Engineer shows the hard work and dedication of our MBA faculty.”

The rankings are created using the following components:

·         30% Mean GMAT Scores
·         25% Mean Starting Salary and Bonus
·         15% Mean Undergraduate GPA
·         15% Acceptance Rate
·         10% Full-time Graduates Employed at Graduation
·         5% Full-time Graduates Employed Three Months after Graduation

The overall score is a weighted average of each of the components respective score, which are not rounded.

Other Ohio colleges ranked with Kent State include The Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve University and the University of Cincinnati.

Kent State’s College of Business Administration is the second largest college of business in Ohio. The college has a wide range of top notch MBA programs, including full-time and part-time options, an MS in Accounting and an MA in Economics. The college also boasts an Executive MBA program with two tracks in corporate and healthcare.
