Small business owners invited to SBDC's Dec. 10 Summit

Day-long event offers real world education for growing small businesses.

PHOENIX - Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Small business owners who are serious about growing their business are invited to attend an all-day conference on Thursday, Dec. 10 presented by the Maricopa Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

The Go Beyond Small Business Summit (http://maricopa-sbdc.com/small-business-summit/) will be held at the GateWay Community College Campus in the Copper Room, 108 N. 40th Street, IE Bldg. (Phoenix, AZ 85034).beginning at 8 a.m. The event will feature top-notch, nationally-recognized speakers and SBDC business experts.

“Based on input from our clients, we have organized an event that focuses on real-world education for the growing, established small business,” says Nancy Sanders, regional center director of the Maricopa SBDC.

Summit speakers will cover the following topics:

-         Demystifying the lending process;

-         Three simple steps to government contracting;

-         GrowthWheel—a tool for decision-making and action-planning;

-         Knowing your numbers so you can grow;

-         Phoenix Business Journal’s Corporate Portal;

-         Filling the pipeline: get creative;

-         Going Global;

-         Engage your buyers early! Digital marketing in 2015 and beyond; and

-         Creating WOW customers.

The Go Beyond Small Business Summit runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes a box lunch and other refreshments; business expo of resources, products and services for small business owners; and opportunities for networking.
