Nov. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- The annual fall semester Michael D. Solomon Speaker Series hosted by the College of Business Administration’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (CEBI) featured keynote speaker, Keith Levy, President of Royal Canin, who presented “Laws of Growth Redefined” to students, faculty and community members.

“His presentation on brand marketing correlated with what I am learning in class and seeing the lectures come to life by a professional who is as passionate as Keith Levy was especially rewarding,” said Tyra Elton, managerial marketing major at the College of Business Administration.

Levy’s presentation touched on life cycle marketing, incorporating his experience with various brands from beer to pet food, including Royal Canin’s high dollar pet food line that has found success with an exclusive online ordering and home delivery method.

“I was thoroughly impressed by the presentation and honored that Keith traveled from St. Louis to share his vast experience in marketing from his time at Anheuser-Bush to his experiences today with Mars, Inc.,” said Dean Deborah F. Spake of the College of Business Administration, “our students and faculty were thoroughly engaged throughout the evening.”

Many students were eager to interact and meet one-on-one with Levy at the reception that followed the event, Levy entertained questions for well over an hour.

Levy was amazed by all the changes that have occurred at Kent State and the community since his last time on campus over 30 years ago. “To see the expansion of Kent State’s campus is exciting, along with the college’s innovative curriculum and the new onsite Career Services Office dedicated to business students is very impressive,” says Levy. “I look forward to coming back to Kent State to share and work on continued growth and success of the college.” Levy is a 1985 graduate with a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing.
