New Releases of SPARK Toolkits: UI, External Participant, Portal Builder

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Nov. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Salient Process announced today the release of SPARK UI V4.1.3, External Participant and Portal Builder Toolkits for IBM BPM.

External Participant Toolkit provides the ability for organizations to execute IBM BPM Tasks and Services (i.e. Dashboards) to users outside of BPM, and inside firewall or your organization by providing a safe, secure and easy set of functionality to leverage the same simple, yet powerful development model available across SPARK Toolkits.

Portal Builder Toolkit enables BPM developers to customize the IBM BPM Process Portal to meet their customer’s business need (a known challenge and development intensive effort with IBM BPM out of the box). Portal Builder gives BPM developers full control over the BPM Portal look and feel, down to the Task UI frame. Developers can customize Task lists, define Task behavior (click, select, open in new page or same page), create & customize Process instance lists and Launch Services in the BPM Portal (OOB or custom). In addition, a special push-mode pattern is provided in the Portal Builder to model "get-next" styles of interactions, where users are given work without selecting.

The latest release of SPARK UI Toolkit Version 4.1.3 was also announced, which enables creation of modern IBM BPM user interfaces 4X faster than out-of-box IBM BPM UI development, superior ease of use for BPM Developers, delivering fully mobile-ready BPM applications to the business. SPARK UI Toolkit provides rich client-side interactions with modern styling (Web 2.0) and a highly responsive design, providing full support for common mobile devices using a consistent, simple, yet very powerful programming model.

SPARK Toolkits Enterprise and Free Community edition are available across IBM BPM 8.x versions via the Salient Process support website.
