The Cookbook Club: Cookies with the Oliver Wolcott Library Staff

LITCHFIELD, Conn. - Nov. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Are you looking for fun, fresh ideas for your cookie plates this upcoming holiday season? Join Adult Services Librarian Audra MacLaren and Librarian Patricia Moore at our meeting of the OWL Cookbook Club. We are excited to chat about (and eat!) cookies we have never tried before, as well as those time-tested family favorites.

Over the course of the month we encourage you to make recipes from your book and come ready to chat about what worked, what didn’t, and what you cannot wait to make again. Audra and Patricia will be bringing their favorite cookies and encourage you to do the same. Do not be intimidated - we are all just amateur cooks who love books! Be sure to bring the recipe that accompanies your cookies.

         Books will be available to borrow one month in advance. All Oliver Wolcott Library events are free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required and can be done by calling 860-567-8030 or logging onto www.owlibrary.org and clicking on Programs/Adult Programs.
