Michael DeCosta named "Telecommunicator of the Year" by Metropolitan Boston EMS Council

Nov. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Fallon Ambulance Service (www.fallonambulance.com), the region’s largest independently owned ambulance service, is proud to announce that Director of Communications Michael DeCosta of Easton, Massachusetts has been selected as the recipient of the Metropolitan Boston Emergency Medical Services Council’s “2015 Telecommunicator of the Year” award.

DeCosta, a 28 year veteran of Fallon Ambulance Service, was honored for providing “meritorious service above and beyond what is expected in the profession.”

DeCosta  received the esteemed award as “Telecommunicator of the Year” at the Fifteenth Annual Region IV EMS Awards Ceremony on Nov. 5th at the American Legion Post 440 in Newton.

“It is a pleasure to announce Michael as recipient of the MBEMSC award,” said Peter Racicot, Fallon’s Senior Vice President of Business Development.   “We are delighted that his dedication to the profession, leadership skills and commitment to providing the highest caliber of service has been recognized with this prestigious honor.”

The Metropolitan Boston Emergency Medical Services Council is one of the five designated Emergency Medical Services Councils in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The primary mission of the Council is to coordinate and improve the Emergency Services in its 61 cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts.
