SGS Reapproved for Accreditation by Cofrac

Nov. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- SGS’ Consumer Testing Services in France, has had its Cofrac accreditation extended. SGS is now able to offer conformity assessment services for lighting, power and garden tools, as well as household appliances.

Cofrac Accreditation

Cofrac, the French Accreditation Committee (Comité Français d'Accréditation) is responsible for granting accreditation to bodies involved in the conformity assessment in France.

Following this extension of accreditation, SGS’ Aix en Provence laboratory can verify that this new range of electrical and electronic products (http://www.sgsgroup.fr/fr-FR/Consumer-Goods-Retail/Electrical-and-Electronics.aspx) are compliant with regulations IEC/EN 60529, IEC/EN 60695-2-10, IEC/EN 60695-2 and IEC/EN 60695-11-5.
