HumanTouch Appoints Pete Sandlin and Mario Suarez to Federal and DoD Leadership

MCLEAN, Va. - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- HumanTouch, LLC, a global leader in Cloud and on-premise solutions that maximize visibility and strategic insight into business operations, today announced it has named two accomplished professionals to its Department of Defense leadership team.  Pete Sandlin was named the company’s Director, Strategic Services and Product Solutions.  Mario Suarez was named Director, Defense Services.  Both will further accelerate the growth of the company’s already-strong Department of Defense business and drive additional opportunity in the Cloud and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) markets.

Mr. Sandlin joins HumanTouch after 39 years in the U.S. government as an IT systems analyst and program manager.  Mr. Sandlin’s experience in the IT and program management fields was established working for U.S. Navy, Naval Security Group and the Defense Intelligence Agency.  Most recently, Mr. Sandlin was a deputy program manager with the U.S. Marine Corps System Command managing the ACAT 1 Global Combat Support System program.  While at Systems Command, Mr. Sandlin implemented multiple IT portfolio management approaches for logistics and business systems.

Mr. Suarez has more than 25 years of experience in enterprise IT and business management.  He’s served as senior program manager for large, complex programs in the Federal / DoD markets.  Mr. Suarez was a senior program manager with HP Enterprise Services where he was responsible for several U.S. Army enterprise-wide implementations, including the deployment of the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems program, which was the first enterprise resource planning structure to fully deploy within the Army.   He also served as senior program manager providing support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense IT Infrastructure’s SECDEFCOM Enterprise IT program, which evaluates, develops, engineers, and implements enterprise IT systems to the highest echelon within DoD.
