Is this the next musical prophet?

Brendan Hoffmann sings like Jeff Buckley, has the eclectic musical variety of Ween yet the deep lyrical mysticism of Maynard James Keenan.

BRONX, N.Y. - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Brendan Hoffmann has just released an album online.

The album is called Phoenix Rising.

He has dedicated the album to his recent good fortune in having been diagnosed and treated for a number of medical conditions including severe sleep apnoea and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Brendan sounds somewhere in between David Bowie, Jeff Buckley and Maynard James Keenan of Puscifer.

The album contains a variety of styles from dreamy ballads, to gypsy sounding folk songs to sophisticated and triumphant rock epics.

This is Brendan's third major release and it is a complete turn around from his previous albums that were furious grunge and heavy metal, perhaps reflective of the place he was in at the time.

This album marks a shift back to when Brendan wrote peaceful and healing songs prior to 2004 when he became unwell.

The album is a triumphant and enigmatic ride through the emotions he feels and the comfort he wishes for all mankind, you can definately tell he has a generous and compassionate heart.

The album can be found on a variety of websites including iTunes and CDbaby.
