Writers Resource Center Members Will Present Seminar on How to Find and Develop “Characters”

FAIRFIELD, Calif. - Nov. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Members of the Writers Resource Center (WRC) will offer a seminar on how to find and develop characters for fiction manuscripts at their next meeting.  The session will be led by award-winning author Vicki Ward, and is part of the group’s ongoing certificated program, the “Developing Authors Series.”  The meeting will be held on Saturday, November 14th from 10 am to 12 noon at 1745 Enterprise Drive, Fairfield, room 113. Seating is limited.  Anyone planning to attend is asked to please RSVP by calling 707-290-5390.  Admission is free for members; non-members pay a small fee.  Complementary refreshments will be served.

“Our developing authors series has become very popular almost instantly,” says WRC President Janie P. Bess.  “We are very happy to be providing resources that allow writers to develop their skills, and to see so many people interested.”

The event will feature lecture, handouts and writing exercises on how to identify and develop characters for novels, short stories and other works of fiction.  All participants should bring writing supplies or electronic devices and a three-ring binder to hold course materials.
