Nerac to host the next XcellR8 Meeting November 12

TOLLAND, Conn. - Nov. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Nerac (http://nerac.com/) is pleased to announce the next XcellR8 meeting which will be held at 8am Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Nerac headquarters in Tolland, CT.  The XcellR8 meetings are a high energy, interactive forum for entrepreneurs to pitch ideas and concepts and to brainstorm creative solutions to challenges.

XcellR8 welcomes Dave Meyers and TeachersConnect. TeachersConnect (http://teachersconnect.us/) is an in-person and online network that gives new K-12 teachers a safe place to ask their most urgent questions—even the embarrassing ones—and get answers from a trusted network of peers, mentors, and experts who understand the real-world classroom challenges. TeachersConnect also gives teacher prep programs the data they need to build deep, lasting relationships with their graduates and to be compliant with new federal and state regulations. In partnership with teacher prep programs across the country, TeachersConnect is laying the groundwork to ensure a world in which teaching is never a solo activity and "teacher prep" stays with teachers for the entirety of their careers.

Dave is a twenty-five year educator who now designs products and learning experiences that give teachers the tools and techniques to get their students engaged with even the most complex tasks. Working together with teachers in their classrooms, Dave crafts ways to ignite students’ natural urge to communicate their ideas and experiences--clearly and convincingly, in speech and in writing. Dave has held leadership positions in public schools, non-profits, for-profits, lean start-ups, and large corporations.  Dave hopes to creatively brainstorm strategies for launching this new approach to the education market with the XcellR8 group on Thursday.

XcellR8, established as a networking cell in northeastern Connecticut, was one of four originally created by members of the Connecticut Technology Council executive board, including Nerac CEO, Kevin Bouley. Nerac generously makes space available to support this community of entrepreneurs.
