APRIL announces appointment of Christophe Boutineau as new Deputy CEO

LONDON - Nov. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- APRIL International, part of the APRIL Group, has announced the appointment of Christophe Boutineau to the role of Deputy CEO. The new role will allow Christophe to oversee the development of APRIL Assistance, which recently launched in the UK.

Christophe has over 30 years of experience in the insurance sector. Previous roles have included that of CEO of the Assuristance Group, a joint venture between CNP Insurance Group, France’ s largest insurer and Swiss Life, which set new benchmarks in the assistance market. Prior to this, his roles have been that of CEO of the Filassisance Services Group, again part of CNP Insurance. The company specialises in providing health insurance, legal protection and assistance policies.

Commenting on his new appointment, Christophe said, “April Assistance recently announced its entry into the thriving and important UK assistance market and I am delighted to be able to bring my own experience to the company. Our strategy will be to focus on the delivery of a seamless case management service to ensure users of our assistance network enjoy the highest levels of customer experience. “

APRIL Assistance has 14 wholly-owned contact centres in 4 continents operating 24/7 and 150 exclusive local agents, with the Group now providing assistance services in more than 25 languages worldwide. The company has extensive experience of delivering cost effective domestic and international claims management solutions across a range of sectors, in particular medical, healthcare and travel insurance. Christophe Boutineau is a qualified medical doctor and MBA graduate of the prestigious HEC School of Management in Paris.
