Redd Label Spices presents Redd & Black

Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- In keeping with their ongoing methodology of a Healthy Body + Healthy Mind = Healthy Relationships in brand & ministry, Redd Ladys, Inc. continues attempting to build a better community with the launch of Redd Label Spices, a unique & holistic seasoning line. With five(5) seasoning blends and four(4) sauces, they are not only full of flavor but also contain natural food remedies that aid in mental, digestive, & physical health.

Because none of the seasoning blends contain salt, Redd Label Spices created Redd & Black Natural Salt Blend. It was decided to launch the brand with the salt blend due to salt being one the foundations of both savory and sweet dishes.

And this isn’t your average white table salt. Redd & Black contains Red Hawaiian Sea Salt & Hawaiian Black Lava Salt. After a few years of research & development, Chef Kami Redd created this blend.

The Hawaiian Red Sea Salt in this blend is also known as Alaea, it is the traditional sea salt Hawaiians use for seasoning and preserving food. It is an unprocessed sea salt rich in trace minerals found in sea water. A small amount of harvested reddish Hawaiian clay (Alae) enriches the salt with iron oxide.

The Black Lava Salt is also from Hawaii and is a blend of unrefined sea salt and purified volcanic charcoal. This salt is evaporated in above-ground pools that formed naturally from lava flows. Activated charcoal, a proven anti-toxin and digestive-tract palliative, is added for color and for its detoxifying effects. Charcoal is good as a natural aid for stomach and gas ailments. It also helps prevent the stomach and intestines from absorbing most poisons or drugs. Many people take it as a nutritional supplement.

This blend is a great finishing salt for any dish. It’s especially good on salads, vegetables, sushi, grilled steak, teriyaki chicken or tofu.
