Comedian Don Barnhart’s Comedy Special 1 Night, 1 Camera, No Bullsh%$ Is Now Available Online

LAS VEGAS - Nov. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Award-winning comedian Don Barnhart releases new comedy special online bypassing the networks going directly to his fan-base keeping the profits in house.

As more and more comedians are choosing to go the self-distribution route, Don Barnhart has joined the like of Louis C.K., Aziz Ansari and Jim Gaffiganby releasing his comedy projects online, direct to the customer and keeping the profits in house.

“Far too many ‘suits’ get involved and want to dictate what they think is popular and often overlook what the general public wants,” said Barnhart in a recent interview.  “Audiences are smart and want quality material.  They’re viewing things online, getting more selective while the networks keep force-feeding them the same old garbage.  By going the independent route, I can deliver my projects directly to my fan base and don’t have to deal with a bunch of ‘suits’ micromanaging me telling me what they think is funny.  If you watch much of the comedy specials on cable, the trend is to take a younger comic with no material and give him a special before he’s ready.  The Kings of Comedy, The Blue Collar Tour and much more were overlooked by the networks so they went the indie route, became mega hits and now they’re the ones being copied by the same people that said they weren’t worth the financial risk in the first place.”

You may not know Don Barnhart by name but you should, as is one of the busiest comedians working today.  He performs over 300 days a year and although he is a favorite at the top comedy clubs and cruise ships, Barnhart spends much of his time overseas entertaining and producing comedy shows the troops around the world.   Since his first tour in 1992, Barnhart continues to produce and perform for the troops stationed overseas and will head to Iraq and Afghanistan in 2016.

Barnhart’s new video 1 Night, 1 Camera, No Bullsh%$ captures Don live on stage during his DeEvolution of Man Tour covering everything from entertaining the troops to modern technology and love, marriage divorce and what happens in-between.  “There’s no fancy edits, cuts or special effects.  It’s just me, onstage doing my show,’ added Barnhart.

Don Barnhart is the author of the new book, Finding Your Funny, inspired by his starring role in Finding The Funny with Brad Garrett and Louie Anderson.  He has a fun, yet challenging role in Tribute to Fluffy and appears as the crazed mas-shooter in Max Justice.
