Ping HD appoints Kevin Goldsmith to Chief Technology Officer

DENVER - Nov. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Ping HD, a leading provider of digital signage software is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Goldsmith to the position of Chief Technology Officer.  Previously, Kevin served as Ping HD’s Director of Digital Media Services.  Peter Stamos, Ping HD’s CEO stated, “Kevin has overseen our evolution from systems integrator to application focused software development company. Recently Kevin was the architect of our award winning EngagePHD™ digital signage content management platform.  Kevin also manages our team of developers and continues to add enhancements (like Chrome Box and beacon integration) to the platform as customer needs across several industry segments continue to evolve.”

Goldsmith an 11 year Digital Signage veteran joined Ping HD in December 2010 and has helped drive business growth through careful product selection before architecting the EngagePHD™ platform in 2014. Listening to the needs of the customer, working with our resellers on a living breathing product roadmap while working with leading hardware vendors to capitalize on new technologies has yielded one of the industry’s most dynamic HTML5 Digital Signage platforms.  Recent deployments of the EngagePHD™ platform have included five MLB stadiums and several retail and hospitality locations.

Kevin is a BA (Hons) Business Studies graduate of the University of Luton.  His previous positions were Global Head of Strategic Partnerships (Signagelive) where he was responsible for developing a global base of Strategic Partners across all business verticals looking to develop a value added digital signage proposition; Account Manager (ECi2) where he began supporting the flagship software application; Store Manager (Woolworths PLC), where he became part of the implementation task force when Woolworth's rolled out a new PoS and SST (Sales and Stock Tracking) system.  Other roles included a brief spell in IT/Technical recruitment.
