Jess Barsotti and Colleen Calvanese of ProEx to speak at Physical Therapy Association MA Conference

NEEDHAM, Mass. - Nov. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine, announces that Jess Barsotti, DPT, ATC and Colleen Calvanese have been invited as guest speakers at the American Physical Therapy Association Annual Conference of MA (AMPTMA) to be held November 14 at the Norwood Sheraton Four Points.

Barsotti is the clinic manager of the Boston Financial District location. He will deliver a presentation on “Critically Analyzing Plantar Heel Pain: Implication for the Examination and Management of Plantar Fasciitis/Fasciosis.

A native of Vineland, New Jersey, Barsotti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Boston University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Calvanese is the clinic manager of the Springfield location. She will deliver a presentation on “Beyond Manipulation: Mobilization and Manual Therapy Techniques for the Thoracic Spine and Rib Cage along with colleagues Parul Patel and Martin Langaas.

Calvanese is a graduate of American International College in Springfield with a Bachelor of Interdepartmental Science degree and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.  She also holds a Bachelor of Sports Medicine degree from Westfield State College in Westfield, MA. She holds membership in the American Physical Therapy Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the American College of Sports Medicine and the New England College of Sports Medicine.
