Colonial Courtyard at Bedford to hold Veterans Day program

BEDFORD, Pa. - Nov. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Colonial Courtyard at Bedford will hold a Veterans Day Remembrance program on Nov. 11 at the senior living community located at 220 Donahue Manor Road.

    The event will honor 19 veterans who reside at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford during two seatings. The first seating will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the second will start at 12:30 p.m. A luncheon will be held in conjunction with the program.

    “We will honor all of those men and women who so valiantly served our country and now are part of our community,” said Nanette Bankes, Activities Coordinator at Colonial Courtyard at Bedford. “We are so grateful for their service. We will have a Veterans Remembrance in their honor.”

    Colonial Courtyard at Bedford will recognize each of the 19 veterans individually and as a group.

    "The ceremony is so popular that we have scheduled two seatings in order to give all of the veterans their time in the spotlight they deserve," Bankes said. "We expect a great turnout."
