Legends Of Freestyle Movie Premiere November 7th In NYC

NEW YORK - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Take a walk through Freestyle history as Steve Stanulis interviews some of the Legends who made this musical genre what is was and is today. He will take you on a journey to one of the best times in musical history! On November 7th, 2015 Freedom Williams will star in the 90 minute documentary called “Legends Of Freestyle” premiering at the HBO Action Film Festival at AMC Empire 25 Theatres at Times Square in NYC.

The documentary explores 80’s freestyle music featuring past performance footage as well as candid interviews with Freedom Williams, Lisa Velaz (Lisa Lisa), Little Louie Vega and more. These artist’s “keep it real and honest” as they discuss the truth about who worked hard at their trade and who rose to fame with a single hit. Artists also discuss who wrote their own songs, who is suing who and who the outcasts were, delving into why so many freestyle artists were “one hit wonders”.  These icons relay behind the scenes stories about life as a freestyle artist and why they feel freestyle never made it as big as other genres in the industry. These interviews are open, honest and without apology. They paint a picture of a world that fans only glimpsed from afar until now.
