The Naples Players To Hold Auditions for "The 39 Steps"

NAPLES, Fla. - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- NAPLES, FL- The Naples Players will hold auditions (http://naplesplayers.org/auditions.html) forThe 39 Steps beginning at 2:00 pmon Saturday, November 28 at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5^th Avenue South, Naples. No appointments are necessary.

Three to five men are needed for this production, one age 35 - 45 and the others 18+ (playing multiple characters, including women). One or more women age 20’s - 30’s is are also needed. All actors except the male lead play multiple roles

In this spy thriller comedy, Richard Hannay is bored with life until he meets a mysterious female spy. When she ends up murdered in his apartment, he becomes the sole suspect and is launched into a mad-cap adventure in this fast-paced farce that has 150 campy characters played by only four to six actors.

The Naples Players is seeking actors with a strong understanding of physical comedy and those who are looking for the opportunity to play a wide array of different eccentric characters. Ability to do accents is a plus.

         Rehearsals begin December 14 with scheduling adjusted for the holidays. Performance dates are February 3 - 27. Perusal scripts are available at the box office with a $20 deposit.
