Follow on Google News | Rockland Chamber of Commerce to hold 1st Annual PizzaPalooza on Nov. 10thProceeds from the event will benefit the Rockland Veterans Memorial
By: Rockland Chamber of Commerce Slated from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on November 10th – the day before Veterans Day – the PizzaPalooza will be held at Rogers Middle School, 100 Taunton Avenue in Rockland. The event will bring local restaurants and pizza establishments head-to-head in a pizza showdown to be declared “best pizza in Rockland.” The 1st Annual PizzaPalooza competitors are: Amante Pizza & Café; Themis Pizza & Subs; Player’s Sports Bar & Grille; Dina’s Pizza; Mike’s Pizza; The Banner Pub; Yianni’s Pizza; Spencer’s Pizza (Abington); and Cece’s Pizza & Catering (Weymouth). Dessert will be provided by Montilio’s Bakery and music and entertainment by DJ Mario. Tickets at $10 per person/$20 per family can be purchased at the door the evening of the PizzaPalooza. All proceeds will benefit the Rockland Veterans Memorial.
