Bull Falls Brewery Selects VicinityBrew Software to Support Continued Growth

MARIETTA, Ga. - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Bull Falls Brewery selects VicinityBrew, brewery management software, to increase visibility into their production process. VicinityBrew will streamline production and provide the craft brewery with tools to support future growth.

Bull Falls was established in 2002. Like many other breweries across the nation, Bull Falls began with a passionate homebrewer. After gaining recognition, Mike Zamzow, head brewer at Bull Falls, decided to ramp up operations to a full scale production brewery. The brewery puts a special emphasis on traditional German Lagers. The inaugural recipe brewed was Bull Falls Oktoberfest, which continues to be a success story. In 2014, USA Today featured the brew in its Beer Man column naming the Bulls Falls Oktoberfest as one of the best Oktoberfest-style beers of the season and furthermore stating that it “simply outclasses the competition”.

Continued growth sparked the search for a robust and cohesive software solution to address their unique business needs. Bull Falls team member, Ashley Marschall, explains what drove their software selection process:

“With the recent expansion of our distribution territory we wanted to have a system in place that would help our ordering and brewing processes synchronize to be sure we have enough product on hand for when an order is placed.

We could see that, as we started to brew more batches of beer and ramp up our production that we would have to pay close attention to the materials we were consuming. We are excited for VicinityBrew’s capability to track materials as they are used throughout all the stages of brewing. The brew calendar is also a great tool. Being able to see which brew is at which stage, will help balance the delivery of packaged goods needed to fulfill orders on time.

Working with multiple distributors throughout the state makes having this scheduling feature important in helping us organize our brews effectively and efficiently.”

By instituting a system while the brewery is relatively small in terms of production, will ensure that Bull Falls will have the necessary tools to operate their business and support growth for years to come.
