“America’s Toy Wrap” Brings Holiday Spirit to Dallas

DALLAS - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- For the fourth year in a row, America’s Toy Wrap is being held in Dallas, sponsored by Children’s Hunger Fund and hosted by First Fitness. For over 20 years, the children’s charity has held annual Toy Wraps which are multiple volunteer events where families are welcomed to come and wrap toys for  children in need. Since beginning these Toy Wraps, the holiday volunteering opportunity has turned into a nation-wide event. Children’s Hunger Fund now holds nine different Toy Wraps in six different locations.

The Dallas Toy Wrap will take place on November 21, hosted by FirstFitness Nutrition (FFN) in Carrollton.  Adults, children, students, and families of all ages are invited to come for a morning of Christmas fun. The event is free and open to the public, but does require registration at http://ChildrensHungerFund.org/toywrap.

“The Annual Toy Wrap is an event I am incredibly passionate about as it benefits children in need, right here in our very own backyard. We invite any and all who want to bring the spirit of Christmas directly to these children,” said President and Co-Founder of FFN, Nigel Branson.

The Toy Wrap is not only a fun activity for the family, but also an event with purpose. The wrapped toys will then be distributed to children in need around Dallas by local trained volunteers as a part of Children’s Hunger Fund’s work in the region.

Children’s Hunger Fund is headquartered in California but has Distribution Centers operating to serve major regions of the United States. These Distribution Centers partner with local churches and volunteers to serve the poor through relationship building and lasting care.
