RecruitMilitary Veteran Career Fair Headed to Jacksonville on December 3

LOVELAND, Ohio - Nov. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a veterans career fair at EverBank Field on Thursday, December 3, 2015. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. In addition, USAA’s local wealth management team is presenting a seminar for veterans at 10:00 a.m., entitled "Five Steps to Informed Financial Transition.”

“RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a solid track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson, a former Captain in the Marine Corps. “Just last year, 55% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair, and employers were expected to extend as many as 29,000 interviews and more than 9,000 job offers.”

In April, the RecruitMilitary Jacksonville career fair connected more than 400 veteran job seekers with exhibitors including Lockheed Martin, The Home Depot, and USAA. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 420 interviews and make up to 240 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006, and has held 21 events in Jacksonville, drawing more than 8,800 attendees and more than 650 exhibitors. By the end of 2015, the company will have produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Jacksonville to host two more veteran career fairs in 2016.
