QDiscovery’s General Counsel Leads eDiscovery Sessions for Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum

 
Nov. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- New London, Conn. – QDiscovery LLC, a premier provider of electronic discovery and forensic technology services, today announced that its general counsel, Helen Geib, Esq., will lead two eDiscovery-focused sessions for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (http://iclef.org/) (ICLEF). The sessions are part of ICLEF’s full-day eDiscovery forum scheduled for November 10 in Indianapolis.

Geib’s first presentation, “Collection Issues and Considerations,” will take place at 10:45 a.m. EST. She will join Stephen Reynolds, a partner in Ice Miller's Litigation and Intellectual Property Group, to discuss substantive and practical aspects of collecting electronically stored information. Geib and Reynolds will review 10 hot-button collection issues, including proportionality under the new Rules, mobile discovery and working with difficult clients.

At 1:15 p.m. EST, Geib will tackle “Presenting Electronically Stored Information in Depositions and Hearings.” Joined by a founding partner of Mattingly Burke Cohen & Biederman LLP Sean P. Burke, she will delve into topics such as the importance of chain of custody for authentication of electronic evidence and the pros and cons of various options for evidence display.

Both presentations will take place at the ICLEF Conference Facility (230 E. Ohio Street, 5th Floor, Indianapolis, IN 46204). The eDiscovery forum, which is also available for live group or individual webcast, begins at 8:55 a.m. EST, ends at 4:30 p.m. EST and offers Continuing Legal Education credit hours in general education and ethics.
