First Aid Level 2 Certificate Handover Ceremony

JOHANNESBURG - Nov. 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Bakwena N1N4 toll road has been working in partnership with the South African Red Cross Society to provide First Aid training to teachers and scholars in the schools along the corridor.

On 22nd September a certificate handover ceremony was held in Lehurutshe for 98 learners learners from 8 schools along the N4 for passing not just level 1 but also level 2 First Aid training.  The schools who took part of this training include schools from Dinokana, Lehurutshe and Zeerust, namely Ramatu, Ramotshere, NR Mandela, Ntebogang, Ngotwane, Zeerust Combined, Zeerust Hoerskool and Ikageleng.

The First Aid Project is done in close cooperation with the Department of Education Circuit Offices and the Department of Education has classified this project as a school activity.

As a socially responsible company, Bakwena understands the importance of strengthening systems such as health and education; factors that will impact the futures of community members as well as assist the schools when they hold their sporting activities.
