Atlanta Communities Announces Mayar Burton’s Promotion to Managing Broker

ATLANTA - Oct. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Atlanta Communities Real Estate Brokerage, the youngest firm to make the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Top 10 Residential Organizations this year, has promoted Mayar Burton to managing broker of its Dunwoody location, consisting of a team of 95 REALTORS®.

“The Dunwoody office is only about a year-old and I am very excited to lead and grow the number of agents there,” explained Burton. “Dunwoody is a great place to live, work and play. We have a wide range of local events, it is centrally located virtually minutes from anywhere in Atlanta and has beautiful homes and neighborhoods.”

The company has increased its agent roster by about 10 percent this year and currently has 675 metro Atlanta real estate professionals. One of Burton’s goals will be to continue growing the company.

Since Atlanta Communities primarily accepts only experienced real estate agents, having such a system in place makes a change far easier for agents looking for a fresh start at a new company.

Most recently, Burton acted as assistant broker of the West Cobb location. She joined the company in April after nine years with Keller Williams Realty. A licensed agent since 2006, Burton has served in a variety of management capacities within the real estate industry. She served as the director of agent services for more than 200 agents at Keller Williams Realty Signature Partners. In 2013, she was promoted to director of Keller Williams Resources for The Heart of Atlanta Group. This involved frequent travel to eight area offices and training more than 900 agents in the areas of technology resources and systems.

A Cobb County resident, Burton attended Kennesaw State University Coles Business College and majored in Marketing. She is also an active member of the Cobb Association of Realtors, where she serves on the technology committee.
