Martin Pawson Opens Home Helpers & Direct Link of Folsom

FOLSOM, Calif. - Oct. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- When Martin Pawson set out to start his own business, he wanted to do something that made a difference in people’s lives. As the owner of the new business Home Helpers and Direct Link of Folsom, Martin is looking forward to bridging the gap for families with loved ones in need of care.

Home Helpers is the nation’s leading franchise specializing in comprehensive home care for seniors, new mothers and individuals needing recuperative and continuing assistance. Direct Link is its proprietary line of 24/7 medical alert systems, including a fall sensor and an automated medication dispenser. “The United States is a big country and it’s not uncommon for families to be spread across the nation. When mom and dad need care and their kids are a half a country away, it’s a problem in need of a solution. Home Helpers can be that solution. We can help families with loved ones who need additional care but aren’t in a position to need a nursing home. Our caregivers can fill that void. That’s why I opened this business,” Martin said.

Home Helpers and Direct Link offers free in-home consultations and works with each client to create a flexible, affordable care plan based on a person’s individual needs. Services offered include companionship, laundry, light housekeeping, respite care, meal preparation and transportation as well as medication management and care management. Pawson was born in England and raised in South Africa before moving here in the early 1980s. He owned a large format printing manufacturing company for 23 years until the internet and the economy encouraged him to try another direction, at which time he went to work in engineering product management. He was looking for a new journey when he came across Home Helpers.
