Rosemond, formerly an A&R at Universal Motown and eOne, will oversee the label’s overall creative operations and will directly report to Badu, who not only serves as the label’s CEO and president but also the frontwoman in the label’s first act, The Cannabinoids.

Rosemond comes with a highly decorated resume as the R&B Soul veteran has over a decade of experience in the music industry and has worked with artists such Chico DeBarge, Brian McKnight, Joe, as well as Hip Hop artists Nas, AZ and more.

With a deep understanding of artist development and the creative skills, Rosemond brings the same artistic sensibility and top-notch leadership that has helped him earn 5 Grammy Nominations, 3 BET Awards, a Visionary of the Year award and the commercial savviness that has produced over 30 million records sold worldwide.
