Ms. Cannady is an international development specialist and attorney who has visited more than 60 countries, living long term in Egypt, Serbia, Kazakhstan, The Federated States of Micronesia, the West Bank, and Sri Lanka. She was an attorney in private practice in Albertville, Alabama for several years before moving to Kazakhstan in 1998. Seventeen years later she continues working internationally, supporting countries to develop effective legal systems and protect women's rights.

Ms. Cannady has been writing since she was a child in Alabama. She has written many poems, short stories, and devotionals but this is her first full length book. She is a resident of Vero Beach, Florida, having moved here in early 2011 to finish writing The Triangle. She is now completing short-term international assignments and devoting more time to creative writing, including her next book which will detail the daily lives, culture, and politics of the many countries she has lived in and visited.
