Odysseyware Adds NCAA-Approved Courses to Online Curriculum

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Oct. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Odysseyware, a leading provider of rigorous and customizable online courses for K-12 education, now offers dozens of additional courses approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

As part of its Odysseyware Academy, the company has added courses in social studies, French, and Spanish to its online curriculum. NCAA-approved courses in English, science, and math remain available to all students. Like all Odysseyware courses, the new offerings are completely web-based and customizable. In addition, the 36 NCAA approved courses provide Division 1 student athletes enough course options to complete their full core academic requirements.

The NCAA’s Eligibility Center determines every college-bound student-athlete’s eligibility to practice, play, and earn athletic scholarships in NCAA Divisions I and II. In order to qualify, students must meet specific academic benchmarks starting as early as their freshman year.
