Co-creators Michelle Knapp and Suzanne Taylor started this business because there wasn’t an online resource that featured the suburbs; rather everything was kept separate in local magazines.  “Our children’s sports took us all over OTP and there was no resource guide to help us find the great local spot to eat or shop, so we created it,” said Taylor.

Scoop OTP breaks some news stories, but they creators are happy to share the Scoop they find.  They do the work for their readers by aggregating stories from different cities, businesses and key people. They then make it available in one easy place on Scoop OTP’s website. It’s no wonder that an AJC writer Dan Chapman called them the “Ambassadors of Suburbia.”
