The reality is, most of the pieces they sell aren't exclusive. They're mass produced, well branded and sold at a price that makes the company an astronomical profit.

Exclusive how? - We had an idea.. We want to create exclusivity for our customers but not by making them spend a lot of money. What about the people who don't have a lot of money? Our idea then is to create exclusivity from the choking of supply.

Two people visit our website, www.jouelstore.com. They both see a necklace they like, a 925 Sterling Silver Hummingbird Pendant and Chain. It costs £15 with free delivery. More importantly, it's really nice..

The first person buys it there and then. The next day they receive their necklace in an Eco-Friendly Cotton Gift bag and recyclable card gift box. The order comes with a free Silver Polishing Cloth, a bag of sweets and a discount card for 10% off the next order. Lucky them!

The second person waits. They can't quite decide. Two days later they come back to the website to look again but the necklace is no longer there. Only 50 were made and only 50 will ever be made. They were all sold to people who took the opportunity straight away and once they have all sold, that's it.

Exclusivity by genuine exclusivity - The exclusivity has been created by limiting the numbers of pieces we sell of a design. It's not been created to filter out the rich or the poor but those who are loyal to Jouel and those who love our jewellery enough to act on it straight away.

Whilst Jewellery in undoubtably a luxury item, Jouel is not a 'luxury brand'. We don't try an dupe our customers into parting with an inequitable amount of money for the pieces we create. We care about what we're doing and it's not all for money.
