A Crushing Bucket Helps Increase Recycling On Projects

MIDDLEWICH, U.K. - Oct. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Worsley Plant are helping a client save time and money by recycling materials on site, with the help of one of their Crushing Buckets.The client, a family run firm of civil engineers offering a range of services including groundwork and surfacing, roadworks and car park works, excavation and filling.

After seeing MB Crushing Buckets in action at the Plantworx show, the company became interested in how these could help them make things easier on their projects.  They could see the huge potential for saving time and money.   Shortly afterwards, Worsley Plant delivered an MB Crushing Bucket so they could run a trial on a job they felt would make great use of the equipment.  They were so impressed with the results they decided to invest in a reconditioned MB BF60 model to use with their excavator.

The benefits of working with both a crushing and screening bucket on some projects was clear.  Screening material before crushing makes things easier and allows a higher percentage of re-use of the crushed materials.  The screened out soil can also be re-used too.  At the moment the client hires in screening buckets for specific jobs but may look to invest in the future as they see this as a winning combination for the future.

The client does a lot of work for local authorities.  One particular job they used the Crushing Bucket on involved demolishing some old garage blocks previously used by the nearby housing.  This was then to be replaced with a car park.  By using their MB bucket on site, they were able to crush the waste from the garages and use it as sub base.  This meant they didn’t need to buy in brick block concrete saving the local authority money and impressing them with the recycling element of the job.
