VP of Hyland Speaks to Kent State University's College of Business Administration Students

Oct. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Mark Davis, vice president of Hyland Global Services, recently spoke to Executive MBA students at Kent State’s College of Business Administration. Davis’ presentation focused on how Hyland Software attracts, engages and motivates key talent.

“I am very pleased that Mr. Davis came to speak to our Executive MBA class,” said Dean Deborah F. Spake. “His experience and insight is invaluable to our students; such an experienced individual as Davis adds valuable practical training and betters the classroom experience.”

Hyland Software is a global services organization that provides direction and oversight to professional services consulting, education services and hosted software service (SaaS) groups. Founded in 1991, Hyland Software helps improve customer service, minimizes risk and reduces company operating costs. Its software, OnBase, aids businesses in organizing their information and data to create a more efficient filing experience.

Davis has worked with Hyland Software Global Services for over 14 years leading a staff of over 475 consultants who provide industry-specific software solutions. Before he joined Hyland Software, Davis was the director of operations for the Research Center of Excellence (ORCEN) at the US Military Academy, and was also an assistant professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at the US Military Academy. A retired Army Colonel, Davis has extensive knowledge of computer systems and software. Davis received a Master of Science in computer science from the US Naval Postgraduate School, his Bachelor of Science from the US Military Academy and a MBA from the University of Puget Sound.
