Heartland RV to occupy 248,100 SF in Nampa

NAMPA, Idaho - Oct. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Heartland RV recently announced that it is coming to Nampa and bringing hundreds of jobs with it. Heartland expects to be operational in the first quarter of 2016 and will employ 120 people at that time. Within three years, employment is likely to hit around 275 employees.

This was a big boost not only to manufacturing employment in Nampa and the Treasure Valley, but also to the industrial market in Boise. Overall industrial vacancy declined from 7.3% to 6.6%, but the decrease in Nampa was much more pronounced - dropping from 9.3% to 5%! When the 248,100 SF facility they will occupy first came on the market in early 2009, vacancy rose to 17.7% in Nampa. At its peak, Nampa's vacancy hit 19.8% in July 2009.
