hARTlem Readies for Weekend Long Art Festival

NEW YORK - Oct. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- hARTlem readies for their weekend long art festival, in the world-renowned neighborhood behind its creation; to offer an experience unlike any other. hARTlem is not your average art show—combining live art installations, live body painting, original artwork, live musical + spoken word performances, and a marketplace.

hARTlem’s mission is to curate experiences that reflect and highlight the rich history of the arts in Harlem. Brought to you by Deal With No Deal the weekend will include an array of events that cater to a spectrum of art aficionados—featuring talent across mediums and disciplines.

hARTlem: The Art Festival kicks off Oct 23^rd, with Drink & Create: An Art Class followed by Electric.Trap.Art.: A Glow in the Dark Experience. Saturday Oct 24^th, begins with Sole Service: A Celebration of Sneaker Culture & Streetwear followed by Never Sober the after party. Finally on Sunday Oct 25^th, the festival concludes with hARTlem: The Art Show. All events will be taking place at the H Loft in Harlem located at 226 W 145th ST. Artists featured in hARTlem hail from across the United States. Past artists include the prolific UnCuttArt (New York, NY) behind “Protect Yo heart” a street art movement and call to action, contemporary artist Eddie Gvrciv (Westbury, CT), the wicked talented Albertus Joseph (Somerset, NJ), as well as the versatile Parrish Majestic (Virginia Beach, VA).

hARTlem is the brainchild of Nathaniel Mussington, founder of Deal With No Deal; alongside creative Arlene Danna in collaboration with artist ILikeArtTypeGirl. hARTlem is a space where artists from all walks of life in art, music, and poetry can showcase their talents; surrounded by likeminded individuals. hARTlem is about fostering connections. It is a hub for talented creatives everywhere.
