Entreprenuers, Investors and Innovators Will Gather In LA For LACI’s Cleantech Global Showcase

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) will host its third annual Cleantech Global Showcase on October 21-22 at the JW Marriott at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles. The annual summit will bring together cleantech professionals from around the world to exchange ideas, facilitate trade and investment, and celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation.

A world-class lineup of speakers and panelists includes Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, California Secretary of State Alex Padilla, Lyft Director of Transportation Policy Emily Castor, The Westly Group Founder Steve Westly, and DBL Partners Founder Ira Ehrenpreis.

Day 1 features top cleantech investors like Puon Penn of Wells Fargo, Brandon Hurlbut of Boundary Stone Partners and Peter Shannon of Firelake Capital, providing an insider’s perspective on the evolving cleantech investment ecosystem.

Climate change will be a hot topic as Stanford University’s Mark Jacobson, and Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s Jonathan Weisgall provide roadmaps and viewpoints on the climate change opportunity.

Continuing its longstanding support of LACI and its dedication to advancing sustainable technology development in the Los Angeles region and beyond, the conference is sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co. Matt Arnold, Managing Director and Head of Sustainable Finance, and Joe Skowera, Senior Vice President and Market Manager of Business Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co., will lead key discussions on international finance and cleantech investment opportunities.

The two-day event will also showcase over 25 companies from LACI’s global partnership network, who will lead technology demonstrations and take the stage to pitch their latest technologies and products.
