On Saturday, November 7 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, the venerable jeweler will host the Exceptional Diamond Event featuring a phenomenal array of fine diamonds, diamond engagements rings and brilliant diamond jewelry, and highlighted by a special personal appearance by designer, Charles Krypell.

Meet with Charles Krypell for a personal introduction to his new designs. In addition to the latest looks for the holiday, the designer will present selections from his Precious Pastel, Sterling Silver and Silver Ivy collections. Charles Krypell’s designs feature a broad spectrum of colored gemstones––from the soft shades of natural fancy pink, blue and yellow diamonds and gemstones like morganite and aquamarine, to the vivid hues of rubelite, green tourmaline and amethyst–– nestled in exquisitely rendered, sculptural settings. Classically trained as a sculptor before finding his true calling as a jeweler, Krypell has been wowing women with his elegant designs since launching his first collection in 1978.

The Exceptional Diamond Event provides a hands-on look at exclusive collections from some of Richmond’s favorite designers including Hearts On Fire, Gottlieb & Sons, Charles Krypell and Precision Set. Collections feature styles to suite all tastes–from classic solitaires to modern halo styles, to vintage looks and show stopping gems. The diamond trunks include hundreds of loose gems in assorted shapes and sizes, including fancy cuts, natural color and designer branded stones; and 18-karat yellow, white and rose gold, and platinum mountings. Special financing is available.

First-time diamond buyers can explore the fine points of purchasing a diamond in depth with Vance Schiffman, co-owner of Schwarzschild Jewelers and the diamond buyer, and other diamond experts representing the featured designer collections. Schwarzschild’s jeweler will be available during the event to work with clients on custom diamond designs and re-styling their current pieces. The firm is also interested in acquiring antique and estate diamonds; clients are also invited to trade in their diamonds for a store credit towards the purchase of a larger or higher-grade diamond.
